basketball, nutcracker, and a field trip.

Jun 20, 2019

Nate had a busy but short spring basketball season. We went and stayed at my Dad's for his tournament in Calgary. It was a tough tournament for the team, but they played hard and learned a lot. It was nice to be able to leave the kids at my Dad's while Ryan and I watched the games. We brought Bella with us so they had fun setting up a slip n slide and pool in the backyard, played at the park, made a dollar store run, and managed to get quite a few treats from all the adults.

It was really nice spending our evenings out on the deck visiting with a fire going. I love summer nights.

Nate had his last tournament at the University a couple of weekends ago. I really love watching Nate play. The girls also had nutcracker auditions that weekend and lucky for us it was at the university too. The girls both auditioned, but we still don't know what parts they got. It was busy going from basketball, to M's audition, to basketball, to H's audition, but I love supporting my kids in their talents.

We've been working on getting the house ready to list. Cleaning, organizing, washing windows. All that fun stuff.

This little one loves to fall asleep in the van. Sometimes before we even make it to our destination.

Chicken fingers and fries always help when you are rudely woken up.

The weather's kind of been a mix of beautiful sunny days, to cloudy and rainy days. Park date's are a must on the sunshiny days.

I was able to go on a field trip with Hayley to Frank Slide. I pretty much went on all my kids field trips when they were in kindergarten but haven't been on any really since then. Hayley begged me to come on this one and I'm so glad I did. We had beautiful weather and it was so much fun.

These two besties aren't in the same class this year so it was extra fun to be in the same group for the field trip
