A wiener roast and Father's Day.

A week ago one of my friends arranged a little spontaneous wiener roast down at Indian Battle. It was the perfect evening. We had fun visiting and eating with friends and the kids had fun running around playing. Win win for everyone. There is something so special about summer evenings.

Earlier in the day Ryan and I met Shannon at the enmax center where they had a bunch of Food Trucks set up. I don't know what it is about Food Trucks but they are just so fun. I got an amazing coconut lemonade and some mac n cheese poutine. I'm hoping to spend my summer hiking, lounging by the pool, and eating at food trucks. That seems a little counter productive I guess, but oh well. I'm gonna enjoy life.

For Father's Day we went out to the farm to celebrate with the Olsen's. We had lasagna, salad, and garlic bread, with cheesecake and banana cream pie for dessert. It was so delicious. Then we enjoyed the beautiful afternoon walking all that food off. It was perfect.

Yep. They love him He is pretty much the best. No seriously, he is pretty much good at everything he tries. Its kind of annoying sometimes, but we'll keep him.
