Update.

Jun 10, 2018

Holy moly life is just a zoomin by. I guess its about time for an update post. I've got lots to touch on so I'll just jump right in.

McKenna did her ballet exams at the end of April.

The girls did some fun crafting with Auntie Ginger. They were so proud of their creations, and they even made one for me for Mother's Day.

Ty's been having a great baseball season which is almost over. He has a really good team and they are in the middle of playoffs right now. Two games left. Then he'll start summer baseball. He's really excited because he finally gets his Dad for a head coach.

They won first in the league tournament

We went to our last dance competition in Red Deer. My favourite part was staying at the hotel where the competition took place and the live stream. It was fun for our family to be able to watch the girls dance from home.

We snuck H into our room. This chair and stool was the perfect little bed for her and she actually slept here every single night.

Ryan built us an amazing deck.

This was taken before the darker stain we put on it. It looks even better with the stain.

We are excited to BBQ all summer long.

McKenna had the opportunity to be a part of the High School play "Wonderland." She got to be a tree and danced half of her ballet solo, and got to sing throughout with the elementary choir. It was such a neat experience for her and she loved every minute of it. The play was so well done and Wonderland took place all in black light. It was so cool.

One of my friends from the old NSG (north side gang) that I grew up with was in town and got a bunch of us together for bowling and Boston Pizza. It was such a fun night. I love catching up with these people. Friends for life I can tell you that. We can get together and even though years have passed we pick up right where we left off.

The weather has turned hot which makes it hard to go to school. We are ready for summer holidays and are counting down the days. Only 2.5 weeks left. We went to Henderson for the first time this year. We got in just over an hour before the storm came rolling in. Can't wait to spend our summer here.

Well I think I'm pretty much all caught up now. We just have a couple weeks of Year End show, baseball, school, with a visit from some of our favourite people, and then we will be officially on summer break.
