To wash my make up off I use coconut oil. It won't hurt your eyes and is really great on your skin.
The cleanser I'm using is Eminence Organic Skincare their Clear Skin Probiotic Cleanser. Its for acne prone skin. I heard of this line when I was at a spa in B.C and decided to give it a try. I found a spa in town that sells it called Pure Body Therapy. It has so many good ingredients in it and it is all organic. It has a cucumber smell and I really like the texture, and I think it gets the job done. Its a little on the pricey side. I think I paid forty something for it, maybe even more. I bought it awhile ago so I can't remember for sure. I like it, but for a cleanser I don't think I would pay that price again.
Then I use a brightening toner from Andalou Naturals. It is supposed to help with maintaining the Ph balance of your skin. Its the first time I have ever used a toner and I love the refreshing feeling it gives my face. They carry this line at Superstore in the organic isle.
Then I usually use a spot treatment for acne. I picked this one up at superstore as well.
Thursday Plantation tea tree medicated gel. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it definitely has kept my pimples at bay but hasn't gotten rid of them quickly. If you have any spot serums that you use and love let me know.
I just picked up this purifying face serum.
I love Rocky Mountain Soap company. My sister in-law introduced it to me last year. The product is based out of Canmore and all their products are natural and toxic free. I was so excited when I found a store that sells the product here in Lethbridge. It is called Naturista's. Its a really fun health and beauty store on 7th St downtown just down from the Royal Bank. I was really weary about putting an oil on my already oily skin but so far I have loved this and it just gives my face some added moisture. I put some on every night right before I moisturize.
I use the Eminence Clear Skin Probiotic Moisturizer, the same line as my cleanser.
Again, I like it but it is really pricey. I think I paid $60 for this. I just want to make sure I'm using something that will help with acne and won't make me break out. If you have any recommendations I'd love to hear them.
Then I use an eye cream. Right now I'm using Tibetan Gogi Berry anti-aging serum.
I got this in my Fab Fit Fun box so that is the only reason I am using it. I don't think its all natural but I'm giving it a try. Right now I don't see much of a difference. If you have any eye creams you swear by please share. My eyes are set into my face pretty deep so I tend to get a lot of darkness there.
Well these are just some of the skincare products I've started using and my skin has been amazing. The last couple of days I haven't even needed to use my spot treatment. I can really see the difference and my skin feels great. I'm kicking myself for just realizing how important it is to take care of my skin. If you have any products that you love please share. I'm always on the look out for products. I'm kind of obsessed now.
Interesting. I don't buy anything unless my sister says it's OK. She is a medical estitician (which I can't even spell:) and really smart. She has a favorite that you can only buy in Utah with a her license but also for her poorer siblings, me the Simple and St. Ives brands from Walmart is good. Sister approved. :)
