Update.

Nov 25, 2020

This cutie got glasses. Her eyesight is actually pretty good, just one eye is better and doing more work so the glasses are more to correct that. She really only wears them during school and screen time.

We got dumped on. Like really dumped on. The weather was cold and the roads were pretty bad for awhile. Its so stressful driving on crappy roads. I hate it.

We had a huge drift blocking our front door

Big drifts in the back yard too.

Its warmed up a bit now and the snow is mostly gone. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

It makes for some cozy nights though

Ryan has been working hard to get the basement done and it finally happened. We moved the boys downstairs and we are really loving the extra space. Ryan did such a good job as usual.

Some last minute house shopping

We had to move back to zoom classes for dance. We don't love it but its obviously better then nothing. The girls have a nice little space in our dining room.

We got some of the Christmas things out. Hayley is the only one left who is excited about all of our Christmas books.

My new little Christmas tree for our front porch that I am obsessed with.

And the best news of all...I can park in my garage. Its not finished. Still a work in progress but at least I have room to park in there.

We are in our second wave of Covid, which we all knew was supposed to come at some point. Its getting pretty bad again so we have some new restrictions. The one that affects us the most is online school for the older kids, and obviously not being able to hang out with friends and family who aren't in our household. Its tough, but we're feeling pretty positive about it. It really is a small sacrifice to make for the good of everyone and I honestly feel like there is a light. Honestly sometimes its just nice to have a little break from regular life to rest and reset, so I'm actually looking forward to having things simplified for awhile. It will be so weird only having to take Hayley to school. She is not too pleased about it but maybe one day she'll realize she's the lucky one. I still get to work too so we are definitely very blessed. I know there are so many who are struggling and having a hard time and my heart just goes out to them. Collectively things have just felt so heavy lately. Hopefully it will make us realize that we are really just one and the same. Humans. Doing the best we can. We need each other. That's really what its all about. Lifting each other up. Learning and growing together. This kind of feels like that's what this Covid thing is all about. Lets each to our part to make this World a better place to live.
