Luna.

The main reason McKenna chose to go into Lethbridge for middle school was because of their dance program. She has loved dancing every morning at school. She has had the opportunity to work with guest choreographers and went on a field trip to Calgary. They have been working hard on rehearsing for their dance show called Luna, a space themed production. They had their show a couple weeks ago and it was a huge success. We were blown away by how well done it was and the dancing was so good. McKenna was in a big lyrical group, big ballet group, a small tap group, and she did a lyrical solo with a ribbon. She danced so good and it was so fun to watch her dance with her school friends.

McKenna also went and auditioned in Calgary for the Alberta ballet summer intensive with a few friends. The audition went well and they all ended up making it. She is so excited and is determined to earn as much money as she can. The program runs 4 weeks and is a very amazing opportunity with Alberta ballet being a prestigious school with a company attached to it. We are so proud of her and can't wait to see how much she learns and progresses over the summer.
