A different view of the strip |
Later on we headed to the Mandalay Bay and Luxor hotels. We were killing some time before the Michael Jackson 1 cirque show started that we had tickets to.
I'm not going to lie. I love Michael Jackson but I didn't love this show. There was too much going on. Half the time I didn't even know where to look. There were definitely some really cool parts but overall I didn't like it. Wouldn't go see it again that's for sure.
After the show, even though Tamara and I were pretty tired we pushed on and headed to Fremont Street. It was definitely an interesting place. I was too exhausted to fully enjoy it but I'm glad we went and checked it out. We found a nice little Thai restaurant to eat at and I'm still thinking about the meal I had. It was so good.
Man, I can't express how amazing and much needed this girls trip was for me. I had the best time. So many adventures and memories that will last a life time. Kristina was the best hostess and as always Tamara is my favourite adventure buddy. Can't wait until next time my friends.
The trip home was uneventful and it was so nice to be reunited with my family. And even though things are a little crazy and up in the air right now, I know that all will be well. There will be more adventures to come, but right now I'll be grateful that I can get caught up on my blog and enjoy the time I have with my family. Sending lots of love to everyone. We got this.
