Las Vegas Baby! (day 2)

Mar 15, 2020

Our 2nd day Kristina had to do some work from home so she dropped Tamara and I off at the strip so we could do some more exploring. It literally took us 4 hours to explore 1.5 blocks. There is just so much to see. We started at New York, New York, made it into the M&M store, the Coco Cola store, Hard Rock Cafe, and then it was time for Kristina to pick us up. It was so much fun and again and we took a million pictures because that's what we do.

We were laughing over how big these shopping bags were. As you can see, our souvenirs didn't even come close to filling it

We did a taste test of different drinks from around the World in the Coco Cola store.

Ended the afternoon with some delicious pizza
Kristina picked us up and then we got dressed up all fancy and headed to the Wynn hotel to watch the water show Le Reve. It was so amazing and unlike anything I have ever seen before. I was just in awe the whole time. Highly recommend it and I would definitely watch it again. The stage was right in the center with the audience surrounding it from every side. We had front row seats.

Then we walked around and explored the Wynn hotel a bit more.

All the hotels are just so amazing. One time we were in the elevator with an older gentleman and he said "who are you guys trying to impress? because its going to work." Without missing a beat I said "ourselves" and it was so true. We dressed up all nice and sexy because we wanted to have fun and feel good. It had nothing to do with anyone else. I grew up with this mentality that you need to dress a certain way so that you don't offend or make life hard for someone else (that is my nice way of saying it) and I'm not going to lie, it was so liberating and freeing to wear something because I felt good in it and not worry or care what other people thought.

Next we went and checked out the Venetian Hotel and it did not disappoint. Like stepping into Venice.

At this point our feet were definitely in pain. I never where heels.

Kristina was pretty adamant that we needed to experience a Vegas night club. Tamara and I were pretty apprehensive but thought we're in Vegas, why not. With Kristina being a local she was definitely the best person to go to our first club with. She actually has a club dealer (I'm sure they don't call it that) who gets her on list's to get into clubs free, and you usually get like two free drinks. She took us to this club called Omnia which is in Caesar's Palace. We got in this line and gave the girl our names and were just standing there waiting when this other guy came over and said he was a promoter for the club and would we like to come sit at their table. Kristina was like Yes and then we followed him in this restaurant next door because the table wasn't ready yet. There were a bunch of guys and few other girls that we were introduced to. Tamara and I were like what is going on. It kind of felt like we were going to have to be like escorts or something and we weren't sure if this was the right move, but Kristina assured us that it was fine and we were using them. All this political club stuff that I didn't understand but we put our trust in her and it ended up being perfect. We got into the club for free, got to sit the whole time while everyone else was squished and standing on the dance floor, and we got free drinks. The guys (and other girls that got picked) were really nice and not creepy at all and we had so much fun. The club had such an amazing vibe and truly was such a fun experience. I'm so glad that Kristina talked us into it. It felt so good to get chosen out of a crowd to get the VIP treatment. I attribute it to Tamara's gorgeous red curly hair.

Can you believe we fit all of that into one day. That's Vegas for you. We got home late and went straight to bed, but man, what an amazing day.
