We started you off with a bang with our annual Malacko camp out at Horse Shoe Bend. The weather and company were perfect. We spent lots of time floating down the creek, playing bocce ball, riding bikes, visiting by the campfire, and eating good food. We also had our own epic fireworks show to celebrate our beautiful Country's birthday.
My Niece got these leggings given to her in the parade. Not sure the sizing really works for her.
McKenna's friend Ireland gave me this tattoo a couple weeks ago with eyeliner and hairspray and it's still there. I think she's inspired something for the future.
We've had plenty of pool days.
A fun weekend where our Malacko cousins came and spent two nights. Brit and I went for 2 walks and had a dessert night out at Firestone. We spent an afternoon at Henderson pool, and ate Bridge Pizza for supper.
The kids spent a couple of days out at the farm and had a blast as usual.
My favourite was pulling up to the house to come and pick them up and they were all holding hands in a circle jumping on the trampoline. My Momma heart just about burst. That's what I love most about the farm. They leave behind all the distractions of regular life like electronics, and friends, and actually spend time together.
We've also been hanging out with friends, going for walks and bike rides, staying up late, and sleeping in.
McKenna learned her lyrical choreography for next competition season and we both love it. Such a beautiful piece.
I've been hiking twice, and biked to Red rock canyon. (posts to come)
Summer, I freakin love you.
