March.

This little blog of mine has been quite neglected lately but I guess that is life sometimes. We are already into April but here is a run down of our March.

Ty finished up mini basketball at the school. They had the ending tournament and his team did really well. Ty played hard and improved so much.

The girls had their dance buddy party. Its a team building activity as they get ready for competition season and each dancer is paired up with a buddy that they get to know better and support throughout competition season. Its one of my girls favourite parts of being in competition. They had a Hawaiian Luau themed party and got to go swimming.

Elliot slept over and the girls made a nice cozy bed in the closet.

The girls had their first performance called the Festival of the Stars where they got to perform some of their competition dances for family and friends. It was a good show and the girls had fun performing. Thanks to all of our family who came to support them.

 

The aftermath of a good show

The weather finally warmed up enough for Ty to cash in his birthday present of a snowboarding day. It was a beautiful day and he had so much fun with his friend Sawyer, his Dad, and aunt and uncles. I really think it will be a new tradition as the kids get older. To buy experiences rather then presents for their birthdays. He loved it, but was definitely sore in the morning.

A spudnut and library date with this little one. Can you tell she loves books.

As the weather warmed up and before the snow melted, we got to have fun playing in the snow out at the farm.

McKenna and I went to see the Alberta Ballet perform A Midsummer Night's Dream for her birthday. We both LOVED it.

We also had our first dance competition at the very end of the month but that will be a post all on its own.

March has been good to us, but we are super excited for April.
