A couple weekends ago Ty had his final summer ball tournament which involve's all the teams from southern Alberta. Ryan was coaching this year so it seemed busier then previous years. I think he enjoyed it but it was pretty stressful. He said he definitely doesn't want to do it next year. They had a really good season though and ended up taking 1st in the tournament. They seriously played so well over the weekend. It was the best I'd ever seen them play and they definitely deserved the win. Ty has been close the last two years to winning Prairie's. If you remember my post about it from last year they came so close to winning and had a pretty hard loss and took home 2nd, but I guess all he needed was to have his Dad coach to make it to the end. He was pretty happy to say the least to finally win it. He has loved baseball so much he has decided to drop football and continue to play baseball through the Fall. I will definitely not complain about that. We were lucky that Prairie's was in Airdrie so we were able to stay the weekend at my Dad's in Okotoks. We enjoyed our visit and Ty always loves having his Grampa Jim come and watch him.
