Waterton and baseball.

Aug 1, 2017

Brit and I took the kids to Waterton for the day a week or so ago (does time actually mean anything during the summer). We hiked to Crandall Lake, ate a picnic, the boys swam, and the girls just played and explored. Crandall Lake is so beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. One of our must do's every summer. Then we went back in to town and had some sweet potato fries at wieners of waterton. They are seriously the best one's I've ever had. Then a visit to the candy store, we bought fudge, then the kids just played at the park until it was time to go home.

The kids did the Eat it or Wear it challenge. It was all their idea and they'd been asking to do it for awhile. I finally caved. They had so much fun but man it was messy. It will be a fun memory to have for sure. I even captured some great shots.

Swen's invited us over for a BBQ and to play on their big bouncy water slide. The boys also spent time playing baseball with Will. We have missed those two kiddo's and it was so nice to spend the evening with them.

But mostly we've been watching baseball. Ty's had tournaments every weekend. I love watching him play and to see how much he's improved is awesome and exciting, but man, I am baseball'd out. This weekend is the last big tournament in Calgary and then we are done. He pitched 3 innings the last game we played and did so well. Made this Momma so proud.

I can't believe summer is half over. Why does it have to go by so quickly.
