Busy, busy

Well it is officially Spring, and that usually tends to be a busy time of year for us and this year is no exception. Dance competition season is about to begin so we are busy with getting costumes done and picked up, extra rehearsals, and making sure we have everything ready. We have one in Calgary in one and a half weeks, then a weekend off, then the next one in Calgary, then a weekend off, and then one in Moose Jaw. And it just so happens we are getting ready to move around that time as well. We have to be out of the rental at the end of April and it still feels like we have a ton to do to finish the house. Finished or not, we are moving in. Ryan is working hard to get the house finished. I help when I can, but I'm also starting to pack at the rental and am still driving kids around and doing my regular responsibility's. I cannot wait to get into my house. Ry has been working on putting trim up, then we have to fill nail hole's and paint them, he put tile in the bathroom's, and my sister came and painted the boys rooms. They turned out awesome. Nate is just finishing up basketball. Saturday is his last day. He decided not to do Club ball this year. He would rather practice with his friends in the drive way. I'm fine with that because it saves me money and having to go to weekend tournaments. Ty is all registered for baseball. That starts at the end of April.

For dance competition they don't really want the dancers to wear glasses on stage and McKenna can't see very well, so we looked into getting her contacts. She went for her training and aced it and is now an official contact wearer. Although she will mainly wear them for competition. She is still too young to wear them all the time, and its too expensive. She loves having them and especially loves to be able to see when she's on stage. So pretty as usual.

Life is busy, but life is good. We love Spring and can't wait to see what the next few months bring us.
