Spring Break

After the Easter Weekend all the kids had a week off of school. I absolutely love it when my kids have holidays off of school. I love getting a break from the school routine, and I just love having my kids home. We haven't had the best spring weather but we have had a few nice warm days in between the cold, rainy, and even snowy one's. We were able to spend an afternoon at the library. The kids get excited to pick out books. I'm glad they all love to read. We also went to the Mariner's Cove Waterpark with some friends. We had so much fun there. Everyone loved the waterslides. Even Hayley. We could have spent all day there. McKenna had a sleepover with her cousin Bella, and Nate had a sleepover with his friend Jack, and another friend stayed and played until late. I'm not big into sleepovers. I only allow it if its family or I know the friends parents really, really well. Like have been in their home and have spent lots of time with their parents. I am good friends with Nate's friend Jack's Mom, so we let the sleepover happen. I'm glad we did. I think its fun for kids to experience sleep overs. I remember how fun it was having sleepovers with my friends growing up.

If the weather was nice we were outside playing on the trampoline or playing basketball in the driveway. We also went to the little Lake near our home. They finally built a little playground there so the kids have loved going over there to play.It was really hard to take the kids back to school. Usually by this time of year we are all itching for school to be done so we can have summer vacation. Only 7 weeks left. We can't wait.
