Winter Wonderland.

Jan 9, 2018

Over Christmas holidays it was freezing here. Like wind chill of -40-50 kind of cold. That is when you hibernate and don't leave your house. So we didn't. But finally, by the end of the week before the holiday ended it started to warm up and the girls and I took full advantage and went and played in the snow at the River Bottom. It was beautiful. I took my camera and took a bunch of pictures. One of my resolutions is to get better at taking nice pics. Not for any reason but personal use. So picture overload time.

Can you see the big dark circle in the tree. That's a porcupine. M was just about to climb it when a passerby warned us. Thank goodness for kind strangers.

Ty went to Utah right after Christmas for a week with my in-laws. He had the best time and loves hanging out with his cousin Ben. He gets homesick at night but he did really good. A few night time phone calls and texts near the end of the trip but that was all. Here are a few pics that were taken by family.

We took the tree down. I was kind of avoiding it because it seemed like such a huge project but since it wasn't fully decorated it really just took 10 minutes, and Ryan did it pretty much by himself. Sad to see it go but my living room looks so much bigger now.

The kids are back at school and we are all back to regular life. So far, so good.

Oh, and McKenna got a really cute and fun shopkins recipe book for Christmas and the girls wanted to start their own cooking show. We filmed one the other day and it was so much fun. The girls did great and are the cutest things ever. You must check it out if you haven't already. Click HERE to watch.
