Hayley.

I feel like this girl deserves a post of her own. She is 4 years old now and is leaving her baby and toddler years behind which makes me a little sad. This is my last year with her before she starts school so I really want to enjoy it. She is spunky and feisty and know's what she wants. She is still quite stubborn but is learning to move on when she doesn't get her way. She loves playing with the little neighbour girls, but also really craves alone time at home. She entertains herself really well and is never bored. She is a little sponge and repeats anything and everything we say which makes us laugh a lot. She'll say "stop arguing with me" and "you're driving me crazy" (I may or may not say these things too much) and other things which are always cute and funny coming from a four year old. She came in the house the other day in shock and disbelief and said "Mom, Luke is in love with me." She loves playing with her older siblings, especially McKenna. She started dance this year and loves it. She'll come home and practice certain steps until she has mastered them. Skipping and galloping are her favourite, and she is always performing little dances for us. She loves watching her playlist (youtube video's of disney musicals) singing along, and sometimes she'll have little toys to act out the video with. She's been such a trooper being drug around to dance and football these last couple of months. The curse of being the youngest. She always finds little friends to play with at football and is never shy to meet new people, as long as they're kids. She is still quite shy with adults that she doesn't know. We usually lay with her at night to get her to fall asleep but she will sleep through the night. Sometimes she'll come in our room at night but we have a little bed on the floor that she will crawl into. She is also pull-up free at night and rarely has an accident. She's a pretty picky eater. Her favourite food is bagels, chicken, and pasta. She has a sweet tooth and loves candy. It is just so fun to watch her grow and learn about the world around her. We all really love and adore her.

I thought I had made it through with none of my kids cutting their hair but Hayley just couldn't let that happen. She snipped a chunk the other day. Luckily it wasn't too bad and you can't really tell when her hair is down. Which by the way, she has wild, curly hair. She never wants me to put it up. If she had a hash tag it would be: messyhairdontcare. Love this girl of mine.
